Let this be a mood board for the unabashed romantics— the ultimate fantasy of bedrooms for dreamers. Quite literally titled, the new collection Cloud Hunter by Megan Alason Pearl is the light, white, soft, sensual, flirty, feminine bedding arrangement we’ve all searched high and low for, until now finding only in our dreams. The settings below are more than an idealized lookbook; instead, they rather accurately depict how one might spend their day in a Cloud Hunter bedroom: lounging in fancy, frilly underwear, sipping mint tea, scribbling in a diary, and ardently dreaming of their lover.

Cloud Hunter is a home collection company specializing in dreamy winsome bedding. Collections consist of duvets & shams accessorized with decorative pillows, euro pillows & throws.

I am so proud of my friend Megan! Admittedly, equal parts proud and anxious to get my hands on some of her beautiful collection!

Stay tuned.

Often the most intimate glimpse into a foreign culture can be achieved through integration of neighborhood gems, a task which is particularly easy when all of the gems are located in your neighborhood! Residing in the trendy Le Marais, we frequented nearby boulangeries by day and in the evenings, set aside hours for extended, indulgent, often by candlelight, unabashedly romantic dinners to be savored and remembered long after the course of the meal.

It was hard to pick my favorites, but I present the following four restaurants with the very highest regards: (note- photos are limited with respect for both the settings and appreciation of the moment)
Thank you so much to Michael Braithwaite for this wonderful interview!!

Coinciding with the purchase of a brand new (very old) pedestal-farmhouse-kitchen-table, I have become absolutely obsessed with finding one of its seats to camp at for hours and diligently work until daylight becomes lamplight, and sometimes back again.
These first two months of living in Los Angeles have been a pleasant combination of reacquainting and introductions. Although it has been two years since I left this city, my return has made me feel in no way brand new, and instead, seasoned with just enough familiarity to navigate intelligently.
I am examining old work and thinking about finished projects, and trying to determine exactly how all of my past, present, and future ventures involve one another. I am feeling more creative than ever and welcome every invitation for collaboration.
The photo above is the view from my workspace as seen through my iphone as of just moments ago. I received a huge box in the mail today of all of my books and am enjoying flipping through old references or even photos like the print pictured, (from Meeno Peluce who I will style a shoot with very soon!)
The illustration is inspired by this project, which I chose to share regardless of it not being fully painted in order to share my progress with you!
Taking a break now to enjoy my Saturday night. I hope you do the same!
